Angler John Givens sent in his report of this nice BIG Redfish he caught from the surf here at Amelia Island, Florida. John was fishing at the surf this past Friday, September 15 on a high and incoming tide using a “Mortician Rig” (see video below) using a salted clam as bait and hooked up and battled this bruiser of a fish – it came in almost at the top of the Slot of 27″! Boy what a fish!
