Goffinsville Park this is actually off-island but close enough to be included. Leave the island on SR200 heading towards Yulee/I-95. From the bridge travel 1.7 miles to the intersection of S.R. 200 and C.R. 107. Turn left and travel South on C.R. 107, also known as Old Nassauville Road for 3.6 miles. You’ll pass a large brick Springhill Baptist Church on the right, go around a curve and turn left on Goffinsville Road. Travel down to the parking lot and river.
Their is no admission fee at the County Park. There are restrooms, a fishing pier, a boat ramp, covered picnic tables, park grills, a playground and a walking trail.
You can fish from the fishing pier or seawall. It is prohibited from fishing from the the boat ramp dock or floating dock.
On a low tide you can walk down the boat ramp and step off to the south on the shore and walk that shore and fish. This is also a great spot to go Blue Crabbing!
Use a bottom rig such as a Fish Finder rig or Carolina Rig, or a jig baited with shrimp, minnows or artificial grub.
Please take your garbage with you.
